Annual Showcase

Interior Design

At VCUarts Qatar, we teach Interior Design as a discipline of attention and care. Our CIDA-accredited BFA program grounds students in rigorous research, studio inquiry, advanced technologies, and material experimentation. What matters in the end is the quest a project undertakes and the process that shapes it.

Learn about the program

This year’s graduating projects turn toward what is often overlooked, such as mental health, neurodivergence, grief, displacement, intergenerational loss, language recovery, and the spatial experience of those whose needs are routinely unmet. Through these projects, the interior is treated as a site where vulnerability meets design intent, and where care becomes spatial. The work ahead of them is harder than the work behind, and the discipline they enter is still learning to take these questions seriously. This is the version of interior design we believe in.
