Idrak Mansina is an interactive spatial project that reimagines Arabic language as a lived, shared, and immersive experience for children, young people, and families in Qatar.
Responding to the isolating effects of prolonged screen use and the weakening presence of Arabic in digital environments, the project transforms technology from a source of disconnection into a tool for cultural engagement and social connection.
Inspired by Arabic tashkeel, the design translates diacritical forms into spatial zones that guide users through moments of activity, reflection, stillness, and interaction.
Through immersive installations, workshops, and collective experiences, the project encourages users to encounter Arabic not only as something read or spoken, but as something felt, performed, and remembered.
Idrak Mansina ultimately proposes a future in which language, technology, and space work together to strengthen cultural identity across generations.
