جيل لول × جيل الألفين is an interactive word game that explores the evolution of spoken Qatari language through play.

Players describe a word without saying it directly, creating a fast paced and social experience based on hints and communication. The game brings together vocabulary from older and newer generations, allowing players to engage with words that may be familiar, forgotten, or new to them.

Through laughter, challenge, and discovery, language becomes a shared experience rather than a fixed record. This project reimagines language preservation as an active and participatory process, encouraging intergenerational exchange while highlighting the role of design in sustaining and evolving Qatar’s spoken cultural identity.
