An ongoing film photography project that began by utilizing the absence of a studio as a method of practice and expanded into an exploration of liminal areas, in Doha. Certain locations that exist in transition from urban to rural; unfinished, overlooked and abandoned. By visiting spaces where time seemed to have settled, I learnt beyond my prior understanding of the city’s landscape during a period of tension.
