IHYAA is a transformative interior architecture project that reimagines furniture waste as an opportunity for renewal, learning, and community engagement. Rooted in the concept of revival, the project introduces a continuous spatial loop that guides users through a journey of observation, participation, and material transformation.
Visitors first encounter curated displays of upcycled furniture, then move through transparent workshops where repair, fabrication, and making processes are revealed. This immersive experience encourages hands-on interaction and deeper awareness of material lifecycles.
Located within a public commercial setting, IHYAA fosters accessibility and invites diverse users to engage with sustainable practices in an approachable way. The design integrates recycled materials, open visibility, and dynamic circulation paths to reinforce its environmental and social agenda.
By merging exhibition, production, and community space, IHYAA promotes a culture of repair over disposal, positioning design as a catalyst for behavioral change and long-term sustainability.
